Letter to Parents from our new principal Ms Morris

School News

Dear Parents 02/02/2012

I would like to express a huge thank you to all in Camolin National school, parents and indeed the wider community, for the wonderful welcome that I received in my first few weeks in the school. It has helped me settle in much easier and I was struck at how valuable a caring and friendly environment is to a school.
I am originally from Tinahely, but have taught in Dublin for many years. ( I’m not going to say how many!) Now it’s nice to be back somewhat closer to home. I would like to wish Aileen Doyle, who has also gone closer to home, all the best in her new venture in Co Carlow.
I would like to say what a wonderful school Camolin National School is. The children seem happy here and are polite and respectful to all. The dedication and discipline, hard work, enthusiasm and care shown by all the teachers and indeed the staff as a whole are a credit. We are very lucky to have such talented staff.
You the parents, have shown fantastic support for the school, but also a great care, concern and interest in your child's education. This is refreshing and encouraging to see and you are to be commended. I look forward to many years here in Camolin National School.

Aoife Morris
